Some Very Basic Info for Operation of your Unit/s

  • Familiarise yourself with your unit before operation.
  • Remember to read Operating Manual before using Unit.
  • Remember to check & fill the oil in your unit to overflowing level, once unit is on level surface for the very first time & periodically thereafter.
  • Oil to be Used – Always use Multigrade 20W50 or SAE30.
  • Fuel to Be Used – Always use Unleaded Fuel.
  • Make sure your unit is over-rated as opposed to under-rated on its power requirements.
  •  All generators are rated at Sea Level.
  • Remember that your unit has a Rated Power Output which is Constant Power Output & Max Power which is only temporary for a brief period of time.
  • Please remember that for every 100 mtrs above sea level your unit will loose 1 % of its power output.
  • Resistive Loads have their start up power same as running power constant throughout operation.
  • Reactive Loads require start power to be multiplied by 3 times their running power to commence operation & then go back to running power.
  • 1 KW = 1000 W or 1,25 KVA;
  • 1 KVA = 800 W or 0,8 KW;
  • 1 Hp = 750 W or 0,75 KW;
  • 1 Amp = 220v.
